Mixing of Low Viscosity Liquid of 1 mPa・s into High Viscosity Liquid of 500,000 mPa・s through Liquid Surface
For high viscosity liquids higher than 100,000 mPa・s, Anchor type impellers or helical-ribbon impellers are usually applied. But it should be notified that their mixing performance on low viscosity liquid is terribly bad.
This paper describes the techniques that the viscosity drastically changes during operation or mixing of significantly different viscosities liquids, together with the data of experiments.
